Municipal Precincts
Municipal precinct numbers begin with their City Commission District number if there are single member districts. All other municipal precincts begin with 9 to designate that no single member city districts exist in that municipality. The second number of the municipal precinct number is for separating multiple precincts within a Commission district or municipality. The last two numbers of the municipal precinct number is the Municipality Code (expressed as a number; A=1, B=2, etc.) as assigned by the Board of County Commissioners. There is no precinct number with 09 as no municipality has the code “I”.
