Dentro de algunos precintos hay areas identificadas como sub-precintos. Éstas tienen una letra después del número de precinto. Esto indica que esta parte del precinto se encuentra en un distrito del Congreso, Senado Estatal, Cámara de Representantes Estatal, o Junta Escolar diferente al resto del precinto.

Precintos con la letra X, Y o Z tienen terrenos comerciales o baldíos, derechos de paso de caminos, u otras areas no residenciales.
