Petition
Process: Clerk of the Court, Comptroller, Property Appraiser, Sheriff,
Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, County Commission, School Board and Soil
& Water.
After
Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Campaign Depository has
been filed - First day to begin
collecting petitions, a DS/DE 9 must be on file. (Florida Statute 99.095 (2)(a))
May 19th,
NOON – Last date to submit petitions to local Supervisor of Elections
for verification, “28th day preceding the first day of the
qualifying period for the office sought . . “ (Florida Statute 99.095 (3))
June 9th
– Petitions must be certified by this date, “7th day before the
first day of the qualifying period for the office sought . . “ (Florida
Statute 99.095 (3))
June 16th,
NOON through June 20th, NOON - Candidate Qualifies with
Supervisor of Elections office. Copy of Petition Certification along with all
other qualifying documents to be filed. (No qualifying fee is required).
