What does 'municipal election' mean?

Municipalities are cities or towns, and municipal elections are local elections for your city's elected officials and charter amendments, if there are any up for election that year. Local elections have a much more direct impact on your day-to-day life than federal elections!

The Orlando Special Runoff Election is for residents of City Commission District 5

To be eligible to vote you must live within District 5 of the city limits of Orlando. Please note it is possible for your address to show 'Orlando,' but for you to still live outside the city's limits, and therefore, not be eligible to vote in this upcoming election.

To check if you live within city limits, visit the Check My Info page  or contact us

Do I vote in the same place I voted in the last election?

Your municipal election polling place may not be the same.

Because of redistricting changes and because municipal precincts are different from Orange County precincts. Be sure to double-check your correct polling place for this election so you go to the right place the first time! All polling places for this election are listed below.
