Administrative Clerk

Administrative Clerk (PDF)

The Administrative Clerk assists customers both in-person, by phone, and by email with a variety of public record requests pertaining to elected officials, the viewing and purchasing of public records, requests for voter lists and street indexes, election statistics and results, and other requests related to public records held by the Orange County Supervisor of Elections (SOE).   

The Administrative Clerk works under the direction of the Public Records Coordinator, reports to the Chief Financial Officer of Administrative Services, and does not supervise any staff or temporary workers.

Senior Software Developer

Senior Software Developer (PDF)

The Senior Software Developer is responsible for the development, documentation, debugging, and maintenance of databases and software application technologies for the Supervisor of Elections (SOE) information systems. 

The Senior Software Developer reports to the Assistant Director, Information Technology. The position consists of 70% SQL development and 30% coding in other languages.

Performance is reviewed through observations, work performance, reports, and achievement of desired results.

Human Resource Generalist

The Human Resource Generalist will serve as a resource to staff and management.  Responsibilities include recruitment, employees and labor relations, benefits administration, retirement, new hire orientation, records management, and other related services.

Elections Manager

The Elections Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Elections, working with Candidate Qualifying, Campaign Finance, Political Organizations, and Municipal Clerks, as well as overseeing all Election Day and Early Voting activities, as related to staff’s responsibilities.

The Elections Manager reports to the Director of Election Administration and supervises Election Coordinators.

Warehouse Technician

Warehouse Technician Job Opportunity Announcement (PDF)

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for exterior building maintenance, operation of the warehouse, and maintaining warehouse inventory of election-related equipment, coordinating the staging and cleaning of voting equipment and supplies, maintenance and repair of all Supervisor of Elections (SOE) vehicles.

The Warehouse Technician reports to the Assistant Director of Technical Services and supervises temporary Parking Attendants and Warehouse labor workers during election events.
