Digital Communications and Media Relations Coordinator (PDF)

The Digital Communications and Media Relations Coordinator contributes to the overall communication strategy for the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office (SOE). This position leverages best practices in written communications and online platforms to provide timely and accurate information to Orange County residents concerning all election matters. The Digital Communications and Media Relations Coordinator will use their creativity, interest in the voting process, familiarity with the Orange County community and media production skills to creatively design and expedite engaging, professional-quality projects that educate and enlist the public’s participation in the election process. This position coordinates written communications from concept to production and manages the office website, social media, and other digital assets. 

The Digital Communications and Media Relations Coordinator reports to the Customer Relations Manager but works closely with the Chief Election Administrator, the Supervisor of Elections, and all members of management to coordinate and disseminate the overall message.

Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator (PDF)

The Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator manages the Supervisor of Election’s outreach efforts to include community engagement in promoting the Department’s services and programs by developing strong partnerships with community leaders and recruiting volunteer groups to create and execute innovative voter education and registration opportunities for the public. The Community Outreach and Engagement Coordinator engages key stakeholders and local groups on various election inquiries and promotes a nonpartisan philosophy to involve all facets of the community in the elections process on behalf of the Orange County Supervisor of Elections (SOE). 

This position reports to the Customer Relations Manager but works closely with the Chief Election Administrator, the Supervisor of Elections, and key staff members to plan and execute timely voter education programs. 

Human Resources Coordinator (PDF)

The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as a resource to staff and management.  Responsibilities include recruitment, employees and labor relations, benefits administration, retirement, new hire orientation, records management, and other related services.

The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Chief Financial Officer and does not supervise any employees.
